What does a Community Partner do?
Our community partners are an important part of our unique model of online community education, and they share our ethos. They are there to provide a communal space and support for learners to come together to access the coursework and provide access to technology (laptops and internet access), if this is a barrier for you.
Is there a Community Partner in my area?
Please get in touch if you would like to see if we have a local community partner in your area. Our network of community partners is continuously growing, and we have successfully delivered courses nationwide. If you would like to check if there is a Community Partner in your area, please email courses@ancosan.ie.
What are the different types of learning?

Online
With online learning, you can study at home or on the move, at a time and place that suits you. Tutors provide readings and online activities, you have control of your own learning, and you can take part in a weekly group discussion in the live classroom.

In person
Some people prefer to learn in person, being part of a group and coming into our centre in Jobstown, where you’ll be welcomed with our renowned hospitality, and our classrooms are not traditional, you have space to ask questions and learn at your pace.

Blended
Many of our courses are a mix of online and in-person, bringing the flexibility of learning from home and at a time that suits you, with the opportunity to come together in our or our partners’ centres.
