We are delighted that our annual International Women’s Day (IWD) celebration can take place in-person again this year.

It is scheduled to take place in The Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin, on Friday 1st April.

The celebration will kick off with a drinks reception at 12.30 followed by a delicious four-course meal with wine in The Great Room.

This is a fantastic opportunity to get together with friends and colleagues for an enjoyable celebration while supporting an incredibly worthwhile organisation. IWD has been a day of celebration for An Cosán for 23 years now where we share our vision for a brighter and more sustainable future achieved through the empowerment of women through education.

We are delighted that Miriam O’Callaghan will once again be our fabulous MC for the event. She will interview a panel of speakers on the topics of gender equality and empowerment through education and this year’s UN theme for IWD – ‘Gender Equality Today For a Sustainable Tomorrow’.

Our event will celebrate how An Cosán’s #OneGenerationSolution is transforming the lives of women across Ireland, ensuring they and their families and communities can enjoy a sustainable future. We will hear first-hand from several learners how their lives have been transformed through their involvement with An Cosán.

We will also celebrate our feminist ethos – how providing a wraparound blanket of support, a safe space where women and little ones feel respected, nurtured and cared for, ensures all generations can blossom and flourish and go on to achieve great things.

Our speakers will include several of our wonderful learners, who will share how education through An Cosán has empowered them to overcome adversity and how being part of the An Cosán family, with its unique supports, has enabled them to develop and grow in order to reach their full potential.

This will be an inspiring and empowering event and great fun too!

An individual ticket costs €120 and a table of 10  may be booked for €1,200. We also have various sponsorship options.

To book a place, or to sponsor or donate a raffle prize, please use this form.
