About this course

This programme is open to all* and is aimed at those who want to work in the area of Community or Social Care.

Throughout this course learners will complete four QQI Level 5 modules required to work in a home care or community care setting over one year. The modules are Level 5 Care Provision and Practice (5N2705), Special Needs Assisting (5N1786), Care Skills (5N2770) and Care of the Older Person (5N2706)

*Applicants must hold a current Manual Handling Certificate.
