Development Lead

An Cosán is seeking an experienced Development Lead to shape and deliver the organisation’s fundraising strategy in support of its strategic priorities. The role is responsible for planning, managing and securing funding across the short, medium and long term, including the preparation of high-quality funding proposals and ensuring compliance with funder requirements. Early Years Manager – St. Anne’s Early Years Service, Fettercairn, Tallaght

An Cosán is currently seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Manager for our St Anne’s Early Years Service in Fettercairn, Tallaght, Dublin. This role plays a critical part in the provision of high-quality early childhood care and education.
The role requires an experienced Early Childhood Manager who is committed to providing high-quality early childhood care and education to children and families of all socio-economic backgrounds. The role holder should be flexible, warm and caring. The role holder will carry out all tasks related to the role of the Early Years Manager. They will be expected work collaboratively with their colleagues and other teams within the organisation.

Adult Community Education (ACE) Programme Development Officer

An Cosán is currently seeking a dynamic ACE Programme Development Officer to join our Adult Community Education Team. Reporting to the Adult Community Education (ACE) Manager and working closely with the Community Education Lead and the Higher Education Lead, the ACE Programme Development Officer will support the development, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation of An Cosán’s Adult Community Education Programme. The role will also contribute to expanding educational opportunities for learners, responding to local community needs, and promoting lifelong learning.

Community Employment (CE) vacancies

We currently have the following Community Employment (CE) vacancies: Childcare Assistant, Hospitality Assistant

CE roles are 19.5 hours per week and are developmental opportunities. No prior experience is necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

An Cosán runs its Community Employment (CE) programme to assist long-term unemployed people back to work by providing work opportunities in a number of areas.  This gives individuals an opportunity to try something new and work within their community. In addition to the CE placement, participants can avail of working part-time in other services if they wish, thus giving participants the opportunity to use their new skills elsewhere.

Our CE programme has proven very successful since we set it up three years ago with previous participants going on to secure employment or going on to study at Trinity College Dublin.

Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for one year or more, or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will be verified by the Department of Social Protection.
